Note: Step 1 in "How to Measure for Your Custom Lace Front Wig or Full Lace Wig" measures how far you would like your hairpiece to go back. If you do not want your hairpiece to cover your head from front to back completely, please extend only to cover the balding area.

Full lace bases offer the most natural & undetectable look possible. They are lightweight and comfortable to wear.

Lace front bases offer the same natural appearance of full lace with a more durable back & a replaceable front.

Polyurethane bases are super thin and replicate natural skin tone. These bases include the Remy Hair System.

How to Measure for Your Custom Lace Wig or Hairpiece

Before you begin, pin hair as flat and as tight as possible before taking the measurement this will eliminated bulges that distort head contour to ensure accuracy.

 

1. From Forehead to Nape of Neck:        

Measure from your hairline at the center of your forehead straight back over your crown to the center of your hairline at nape of neck.

 (Average measurement is 14 inches)

 

 

2. Ear to Ear Across Front Hairline:

 At the front of your ear, measure from your hairline at the base of your sideburn, up across your hairline along your forehead to the same point in front of your other ear.

 (Average measurement is 12 inches)

 

 

4. Point to Point:

Measure from temple to temple across the back of your head.

(Average measure is 14 inches)  

 

3. From Ear to Ear Over Top of Head:  

Measure from your hairline directly above your ear across the top of your head to hairline directly above other ear.

 (Average measurement is 13 inches)
